We had a couple more big tech earnings yesterday, but this time resulting in very different initial reactions, with both AMZN and META going up very nicely. Possibly also fueled a bit by the ceasefire rumours. Remaining cautious, but shouldn't underestimate possible apery.

Today's Super Bowl handegg circus seems like a sell-the-news topping event, but not sure for what. Probable war-propaganda ads during a sporting event, Taylor Swift getting more air than the sport, possible marriage proposal ... How do we sell and short 'Murica and/or humanity?

Getting cautious too early on stocks was a mistake, but crypto did close to what I expected with squiggly. Now unsure, crypto native bid acting like this is local top, but legacy ETF apery is still so insane, and their unlimited bid can put Saylor's bids of the past to shame. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Have mostly been playing alts and their micro-narratives last few weeks. BTC's momentum stopped the moment Coinbase spot premium started to decrease, going from regularly being around +$40 to now around -$40 over the past few weeks. If Coinbase premium comes back >>> ape long.

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This high-leverage ape-long indeed had very limited risk. Unfortunately I was TPing it way too liberally on the way up. Buying ETH call options here for next few weeks, all kinds of strikes. Acceleration seems very likely. Have a ton of ETH betas also, feeling best about ENS.

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It took almost a year, but safe to say that PEPE pretty much indeed replaced SHIB as the main Bitcoin beta that people ape into when Bitcoin is bullish enough that it starts hitting mainstream news.

IMO this Ethereum rotation has strong potential to be real. Either it's just a test pump for ETHBTC and Ethereum betas, and we get bigger legs in a few days. Or things simply chad from here with force, no looking back. Or I'm a moron thinking "this time it's different". πŸ™ƒ

Most of these ETH calls already completed, with very nice profits. $4,000 is strong monthly resistance, so I focused my attention to BTC calls again, this time for end of March, targetting $100,000.

Lowered all leverage going into the weekend. Not messing with spot, though, of course, very bullish HTF. Seems to me that the Coinbase spot bid again held up the market, and now there's going to be an opportunity for a liquidity seek mini nuke during the weekend. Buy the dip.

Yo yo. The plan was for the next post to be about a project I've been building, but things move slowly if you do them properly.πŸ™ƒ Anyways, we've had a lot of BTC FUD and selling, yet price did relatively well. If we were weak, we would have probably nuked to 44k. My thoughts:

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Germans selling FUD didn’t do much damage (except for some alt capitulations), and Mt. Gox FUD is even less sensible. People who were into BTC in 2013 probably didn't just walk away from crypto and made multiples since. If anything, if they do sell, it's probably to buy alts.πŸ™ƒ

IMO Trump is still going to be substantial favorite in November, but it's very possible that Kamala's odds keep rising for the next couple months ... possibly bad for the markets. NDX also seems to be bearishly retesting (bounce was possibly also due to month ending). πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Horrible weekly closes on both BTC and ETH. I don't have any real conviction, but gut tells me that an up-only September is far from impossible and it would be a very crypto thing to do, it would be one of the most hated rallies ever. A lot can also depend on Sep 10th debate.

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This confirms my belief that Trump is already at 70%+ to win the election, and I won't be surprised if he wins in a landslide. Both RNC and DNC were great advertisements against democracy, though. Very sheepish cult-like behavior by democrats, republicans, and their supporters.

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Trump ruined a perfect up-only month with his bad debate performance (moderators helped a bit, though) ... But even with that we've had a great month, gut was correct regarding the horrible W and M closes, and overall DoomsdaySeptember sentiment. Can October bring continuation?

Damien (@omnidamien) 's Twitter Profile Photo

$7B FDV for $EIGEN. IMO all these projects are heavily affected by the meme-market. Both this and something like $ZRO would have launched at like $20B if it wasn’t for the memes capturing all the attention. Far worse projects were doing better numbers less than a year ago.

Rather long crypto, but have good entries so don't care much about a possible retrace. Stocks are in a tricky spot. IMO yesterday's buying into close was because of 3rd quarter ending, and legacy players are sluts for their stupid quarterly books. A possible retrace is coming.

So, let me get this straight, the creator of Bitcoin is potentially someone who doesn't know the difference between 'it's' and 'its'? Well done, HBO, well done. Seems like you did this almost as well as the last season of Game of Thrones.

ETHBTC just hit the high of that big 2016 pump that started it all. Seems like as good of a bottoming area as any on the whole chart. Let's see. P.s.: Please note that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.πŸ™ƒ
