He nods, sitting down on the chair and he held out his hands for her to take.

Will looked at her, his eyebrow raised slightly. He couldn’t imagine her as anyone else apart from the woman he knows now. “Okay...what does this have to do with your friend? I don’t understand.”

“Okay. But I still don’t understand. How did he go from going to a school or whatever...to being framed for murder?” He asked, squeezing her hand. He wasn’t going to ask the reasons why she was sent there, he knew she wanted to help her friend. That could wait till later.

“I think I understand. He framed Scott to get to you. But how do we prove that? If you and me are the only people who know he didn’t do this...” He scratched his head, eyeing her up suspiciously. “What else is going on?”

Will moved his hands from hers, not because he was angry at her; but because he needed to stand up and face the room. At least for a moment. “You slept around?”

He nodded a little, rubbing his hands together. He didn’t want to ask too many questions, but he did want to help her. Because he loved her regardless. “How do we help your friend?”

He walked over to her and too her hands in his, taking a deep breath. “Are you sure you’re ready to do that?” He asked, pulling her close.

He nodded a little, cupping her face with his hands. “I love you.”

He knew he’d have to ask some heart questions and he wasn’t sure how she’d answer them, so he decided to tread carefully. “so, why isn’t your step father in jail?”

“That’s fucked up...” he said, shaking his head in disbelief. “So, how did he find Scott? I don’t understand. Where do they think you are, since you changed your name?”
