OLSB’s choir raised the roof at The Big Sing at St George’s hall this afternoon. The children sang along to many famous hits accompanied by a band and singers.

Our Y2 geographers had a meeting with Bangladesh today to find out about their climate and transportation challenges in monsoon season. ‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ Our KS2 children showed respect and reverence during our Virtues to Live By liturgy on friendship this morning. Our Virtue Heroes Oscar J, Natan, Monika and Zac have shown how to be a good friend this week. 🕊️

The Year 6’s have delivered a beautiful assembly this morning and celebrated the Jubilee 2025. We had lots of speakers explaining to the rest of the school why we are all pilgrims of hope.

For Safer Internet Day, we welcomed Bigfoot Arts Education North, who came in for a Safer Internet Day Assembly/Workshop for KS2. Here we raised our awareness of online bullying and how to stay safe online.

Year 4 have enjoyed World Book Day by wearing their pyjamas to school, reading their favourite books (mostly Dogman at the moment) and creating book character top trump cards.

The children used their prediction and observation skills in 2 exciting investigations! They watched in awe as colours swirled in milk with washing-up liquid, discussing the changes.
