One of the difficult things about communicating publicly about astrology is that making any statement about a particular placement or aspect of astrology is always going to be at least a little bit wrong because no element of astrology is meant to be considered in isolation.

In many ways, the revival of astrology in the 70s was successful also bc it coincided with the rise of consumerism in the sphere of the spiritual (something I discuss in my dissertation). (Excerpt from my dissertation abstract below)

That being said, a lot of people dislike all of that - not because they’re misogynists, but because they are deeply against ALL types of spiritual/religious beliefs, and in a broader way believe that these things cause harm & sell fake promises to credulous people.

Solar eclipse in Aries is urgency, animality and anger. Salt in a wound hurts but it heals. Fully rooted primal sounds, grunts, moans, screams, laughs. Licking fruit & ice cream like a lover. Unshaming your animal parts. Not a good time for arguing. Better for drawing game plans.

please if you are an astrologer be mindful of the way you share personal predictions with the public—fear mongering and insensitive language can be harmful for people with ocd, ptsd, anxiety etc. and lead to more destabilization/unnecessary negative effects in their lives.

On Black Monday – 29 March 1652 – the UK came to a standstill. No one worked, markets and fairs were cancelled, cattle and sheep were under cover, people cowered indoors behind locked doors too afraid to step outside. The reason? A thread 1.

This is particularly bad astro-weather for arguing about astrology on twitter. I would advise light content only, drink water, rest, preserve energy, turn your grumptweets into a blog post with more nuance, avoid baleful rays, etc.

I have had quite a few younger astrologers as clients who experience high anxiety from constantly looking at their chart - immersed in measurements. They live in the future - and often with dread and fear. It's like there's a wave of measurement addiction.

Mutable sign wisdom is realising that there are two sides to every coin, reality is not simple, even truth is not simple, truth is complicated and contains layers and layers of nuance and subtlety, nothing is pure, everything is a blend, two things can be true at the same time.
