Karen Special Needs Jungle Surely schools are already stretched to their limits financially & physically! I fear some children struggling with their needs not being met would be missed due to financial constraints, lack of staff & time! School avoidance up & CAMHS queues will be huge!!🙄🤷♀️ Ana Boulter
Socialist Action “A lot more revenue for the Treasury”? Have you read the article? 1% of ISC schools raised their fees before adding VAT. 99% decreased their fees before adding VAT thereby decreasing the tax base. More children have also left than anticipated. How does this equal more revenue?

jane McCarthy Old Kynge’s boy Remoaning wife TheScholar44 Victoria Adam Jones OldishBird Janet Lamb MARY COOK chris atkinson @katieleeming3 Ed Long Jemma Cox Oh, by the way, 6% of state children go to selective Grammar Schools, and 19% go to a selective state school. ( by religion, gender, etc) 8% attend state-funded boarding schools! 18% of state kids live in a home worth 1 million . you need to grasp state is where the money is
Socialist Action You’ve totally got this the wrong way around - you know that right? Talk me through how state school households subsidised elitist public schools? Then go through ALL independent schools and label the elistist ones and the main stream ones. Then do the same in the state system
Socialist Action State school households subsidise the schooling of the vast majority of the elite. These people educate their children in state schools, buy access to them through housing others can ill afford and hang into their disposable income. Shifting the cost to you.
