Not a lot has been said about this after the weekend. Could be some early silverware coming the way of ⁦Ulster Rugby⁩ with a positive result against Munster or, indeed, a win for Connacht in Dublin. #SUFTUM

DerryNow NW Ireland 2040 Today's recoloured photo shows two boys sitting on one of the city's canons looking along Nailor's Row towards Walker's Pillar. All these houses faced the outer side of Derry's Walls and were locally known as the "Back of the Walls".

@ DerryNow Today’s recoloured photo shows the generator room in the Londonderry Corporation’s  power station which was on Strand Rd. In 1891 they were granted authority to generate and sell electricity, it would be May 1894 before they came online.

Today’s recoloured photo is an aerial view of Eglinton Airfield c1943. Established in 1941 it was the home of No. 133 Squadron RAF who were tasked to provide air cover for the City. In May 1943 it was transferred to the Fleet Air Arm RN and became HMS Gannet.

Today's recoloured photo shows the Third Londonderry Scout Troop on the platform in Waterside Railway Station. The photo was taken in July 1963 before the troop left for their summer camp in Gilwell Park, Essex. I think the troop was attached to All Saints Clooney Church.

@NWSharingZone@DerryNow Today's recoloured photo is a c1942 view of the American Hospital at Creevagh. The 200 bed hospital consisted of 68 buildings some interconnected by covered passageways. In addition other buildings were constructed as billets, admin and recreation spaces
