We had a great kick off to the 2018 OKstate homecoming. Window painting and sign set up on library lawn are finished. Monday, October 22, is the Annual Turf Club Golf Tournament. Hope to see you there.

Headed to Stillwater on Monday for OKGCSA's first annual Assistant Superintendent meeting at Stillwater Country Club. Talking about all things GCSAA, career advancement, Assistant Superintendent Certificate Series and Equipment Management Certificates. Can't wait! ❤️

Three weeks ago we sent two people to the STMA SFMA they where Keller Elwood and jessica. This past week we sent six people to the @GIS_2019 these people being Kyle Gray, Robert Frizzell, Nick Zickfoose, CB, Louis Terry, and Conner Antonetti.

We have grass! Thank you to Nolan Thomas and Company, Inc., Myers Sod Farm, Tri-Tex Grass, and CGC on the installation today. Also thank you to Kendall Wiley and the OKC Harrell’s LLC team for getting us pre-plant nutrition.

In some professional news, I have accepted a job as Sports Turf Manager for the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Excited a new opportunity and beyond thankful for the blessings God has given me and for the opportunities and people who have helped me get to this point.

We will be meeting Thursday, March 15 at 5:30 this week. The meeting will be held in the Education Building at the Botanical Gardens. During this meeting we will be working on our sign for CASNR week and discussing important dates for that week as well. Food will be provided.

Turf Club will have our next meeting tomorrow Wednesday 4th at 5:30pm in AGH 306. Pizza and drinks will be provided. We need high attendance for Travis Levings of Karsten Creek Golf Club. You are welcome to bring a friend if they might be interested in working the NCAA national.
