Genuinely white Canadians like to act like they're the wokest between them and the US meanwhile they will spew microaggressions until their heads fall off and look at you crazy when you point it out

Sapphic bipoc x bipoc coming your way in Jan 2027!!! DEATH WISH is about a grim reaper who meets the soul that got away—a now vampire looking to move on—but first they must hunt down her killer before he targets another woman. They hunt r*cists & fall in love with each other 💗🗡️

It's because there's a fear of being "too diverse." If you have a book with a BIPOC character, authors think you need a main white character to appeal to white audiences. This is doubly so for queer books. We can exist, but only in proximity to white people.
