there's a deeper fold to this (and many other) incidences of manipulation, abuse, and harm in the TTRPG space, and it's the fact that one person's word - if that person has a following - can stop someone from ever having a chance in this space. and we keep playing that cycle.

Heard the news. Frankly, there is no way anyone looking to make a name for themselves in the TTRPG space - ESPECIALLY women and femmes - should date someone else in the same career. Don't do it. Just don't fucking do it.
