What a night celebrating a fantastic year of theatre and some amazing students! We are excited for a year of CHAOS for 22-23 as we look forward to Little Shop of Horrors in Fall, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and the one-act version of Antigone in the Spring.

Thank you to everyone who auditioned for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS! We are incredibly excited to get started on this show tomorrow with a read through. Tech applications can be picked up in Best’s room and are due WEDNESDAY!

After our faculty team reviewed essays submitted by 13 students, the following 9 will represent OG as we rejoin KC Cappies this year! Congratulations to the critic team!

Speech & Debate is starting the weekend strong with Novice competing at Rockhurst and Varsity at Ray-Pec. Congrats to Saul Logan and Nych Aleski breaking to semi-finals in novice HI! Congrats our varsity semi-finalists, Alee Dickey in POI and Renee Chapman in Storytelling!

What a successful day! The cast and crew of Antigone are Conference Champs, and Asher Holley earns Overall Top Actor. Also a huge congrats to OGHS Speech, Debate & Broadcasting and the readers for bringing home a 1st place finish, along with Norah Greaves for being 2nd Top Reader in the conference.

Today this group competes at State! We take the stage at 3:50. Break a leg cast and crew of Antigone!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Little Shop of Horrors for their Blue Star nominations: Wyatt Bilbruck with OG’s first ever Outstanding Actor in a Lead Role, and Marah Carlill for costume design! The Gala is May 17th, and it’s free!
