Our research on using AlphaFold2 to predict how peptides from disordered regions bind proteins has now been published with Springer Nature in Nature Communications I am very happy to share the updated paper with you 😀 rdcu.be/dwlLa
Jessica Andreani, Diego Javier Zea and colleagues at CEAJoliot and I2BC Paris-Saclay show that AlphaFold2 accurately predicts protein interfaces involving disordered regions by combining different delimitations and sequence alignments. nature.com/articles/s4146…
In eLife - the journal: Disordered regions and folded modules in CAF-1 promote histone deposition in Schizosaccharomyces pombe doi.org/10.7554/eLife.…
Using reconstitued complexes, we found that the long KER helix mediates DNA binding and stimulates pombe CAF-1 association with PCNA. Also, the WHD domain behaves differently from other species. Great collaboration with Ochsenbein Francoiz and Geneviève Almouzni. doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… eLife - the journal
