Last week, as member of the Nigeria Malaria Elimination Taskforce, I participated in the productive meeting that deepened the conversation on Advancing our campaign against Malaria.The meeting was chaired by the Hon. Minister of State for Helath& Social Welfare @solakoIziaq .

Over the wk, I visited PMG-MAN members in Kano. One of the key clusters of Pharma manufacturing in #Nigeria. During our discussions, I noted their peculiar localized challenges & reassured them of the management's commitment to supporting them in overcoming them.

Great discussion at the lagos Pharma Roundtable with World Bank Nigeria Country Director Ndiaame Diop! We discussed opportunities &challenges in #Nigeria pharma manufacturing ecosystem. Essentially the IFC study. Hopeful for action towards achieving #MedicineSecurity in Nigeria!

Last wk, I facilitated a high-powered meeting btw the industry PMG-MAN & DG at NAFDAC to discuss a timely agenda: NAFDAC NIGERIA 's role as regulator - maximising the impact of the memo on Presidential Executive Order(PEO) aimed at Unlocking the Healthcare valuechain.

Reflecting on the meeting between PMG-MAN & DG at NAFDAC , the energy in the room was contagious. We are collaborating to tackle the challenges our members faces. The urgency of this collaboration can't be overemphasised as we scale up & ramp up production. NIGERIA CUSTOMS

Last week, the ES of PMG-MAN Frank Muonemeh- Advocate for #MedicineSecurity spoke at the WLPF alongside notable industry leaders in the pharma manufacturing space ADNEC Group #Abudhabi. He emphasized the critical role of upholding the rule of law in attracting innovative financing in #LMIC.

At the WLPF, a notable PMG-MAN industry leader, Dr. Stella Okolie, the founder and GMD Emzor Pharmaceutical, spoke zealously about Africa's readiness to produce its own medicines.She called for support from friends of Africa from the global North to build capabilities.
