Using they/them as a default when you don’t know people’s pronouns is not misgendering. Intentionally using they/them to refer to people who you know only use she/her or he/him is misgendering. What is difficult about this concept

It’s wild how Covid has killed a million people in this country, and our government and the rich used it to facilitate the greatest upward transfer of wealth in history, and instead of being furious about that people are angry at masks.

There is a belief in psychiatry that the 'most unwell' people are those who don't know they're unwell. Insight and capacity are seen as markers that someone isn't severely ill. This needs to change.
