this is why OPLA is necessary. the live-action is not targeted at people who are already fans of both the manga and anime, it is an introduction to the one piece world for the new generation. this is literally one way for Oda to ensure one piece is never forgotten.

usopp is one of the most underrated straw hats in the anime. he was never part of any fan love lists but because of JACOB, i can see usopp becoming one of the most favorite and loved straw hat member in the future. the best usopp there is even oda can’t portray him like this.
