Supporting festivals is great! However, having the guts to pedestrianize a few streets would do far more for lasting city-building.

Sad that Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 has been a complete failure on public transportation. We know what solutions would have a lasting impact on mitigating traffic, council has re-affirmed wanting transit priority lanes for a decade. No mention of improving transit in her "bucket list".

Improve mobility by not giving public transit priority. Remember that this mayor promised 10 priority corridors by the end of her first term. I guess she didn't say how long they would be. cc: Dianne Saxe - Toronto City Council Ward 11, UR, Jamaal Myers

Absolutely feckless letter from Mayor Olivia Chow 🇨🇦 on implementing bus lanes between Eglinton and Bloor. These lanes were first proposed 5 yrs ago. The “path forward” was presented in the original plan. It could be approved today. It won’t be because the mayor doesn’t care.

Completely shameless. The mayor touts a completely watered down plan. She continues to not deliver and try to get by on her comms.

Can anyone name a big global city that is oriented around the car and does NOT have a traffic congestion problem? There are limits to sprawl — eventually cities need to target a post-car future.
