Moved the Ports repeaters to a different transmitter temporarily, until the weather breaks. Not a strong of a signal but more stable.

Xtreme cold weather has a few pieces of equipment misbehaving. I have one tower to tower link shut down. And another is running at half speed.

A reboot of the tower to tower link stabilized the link. This is the second issue in a month. We will so a deep dive into this issue today.

The Caledonia tower, which feeds the Capron tower is down. It appears to be a power issue. Reaching out to the tower owner.

Caledonia and Capron towers will be down until tomorrow morning. Access can not be secured until tomorrow morning. Sorry folks. Hope you have an alternative to see the Superbowl.

The Caledonia/Capron issue is a power delivery issue at the grain leg. Farm City is troubleshooting it. Don't expect resolution until this afternoon.

Just got off the with Farm City. My contact said the electrician was working in the junction box one floor from the top to fix the short. He is still on his way down, so I don't have official word yet. Good news is service is restored!

There is an outage at the Ports. A repeater site on Portside is down due to an electrical issue. An electrician is on site and is replacing the main breaker box. This will keep the service down until nearly 5 pm.

The issue is much worse at the Portside repeater. There appears to be an issue with the ComEd electrical feed. I don't have an estimated time to repair. I'm waiting for more details.

Getting some sporadic complaints about slowness. The continued below zero wind chills are affecting some equipment. I just rebooted some equipment on the west Wonder Lake tower, hoping it would improve performance.

We have an outage at our Tryon Grove repeater site. I believe it is power related. Owner is on the way there now. Remember, we are moving to @oawl.bsky.social this month. Duplicate posts will stop soon. Follow me there.
