Due to the anticipated snow and possible hazardous driving conditions later today, all Fairfax County public schools and offices will close two hours early today, January 7, 2020. (Condition 4).

Due to possible icy road and sidewalk conditions overnight from a refreeze, all Fairfax County public schools and school offices will open two hours late tomorrow, January 8 (Condition 3A). Central offices will open by 10:00 a.m.

Monday, March 16, will be designated as a staff development day/student holiday, in order to provide an opportunity for staff to prepare for the possibility of distance learning in the event of a school(s) closure. More details to follow.
