Courier work can be risky business, from weather conditions, to bandits, to wild animals and monsters on the route. But the vistas in the wilderness that you get a chance to witness make it all worth it.

The bigger cities are often far too cramped for my liking, barely any room to spread your wings. Some of them are quite a sight to behold though, and it's always nice to see such a wide variety of people and species.

Dragons can live a long time, and the rise and fall of empires is something the eldest can describe firsthand. I've not been around long enough to witness such myself, but coming across ancient ruins of a people since past can be equally sobering as it is awe-inspiring.
