I am directing flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of NYS Trooper Sgt. Jeffrey M. Cicora, who died from an illness resulting from his work at Ground Zero after the September 11 terrorist attacks. We offer Sgt. Cicora our deepest gratitude for his heroism and selflessness.

Glad to be a part of this initiative to bring law enforcement, school administration, and mental health professionals to the table to define protocols to keep our children safe.
