I am directing flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of NYS Trooper Sgt. Jeffrey M. Cicora, who died from an illness resulting from his work at Ground Zero after the September 11 terrorist attacks. We offer Sgt. Cicora our deepest gratitude for his heroism and selflessness.

The University Police Department is now accepting donations of any unused, new toys for the Marine Toys for Tots drive. Anything would be greatly appreciated. You can bring them down to the Police station located at the underpass of Lincoln Ave, at the bottom of the library.
