On 2/5, cyber actors obtained unauthorized access to a U.S. water treatment facility. In response, we issued joint alert AA21-042A with the FBI, U.S. EPA, & MS-ISAC that details the attack & recommended actions to defend against similar actors: go.usa.gov/xsr4T

💧 Every New Yorker should be able to rely on good, clean water, and we need SWAP to help live up to our state's constitutional duty to provide it.

Thank you to NY Rural Water Association, NY Water Environment, NYSAWWA, & NY Conference of Mayors for your help pushing SWAP forward!

I joined Assemblymember Dr. Anna R. Kelles, the Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission, and water specialists on a tour of the Bolton Point Water System in Tompkins County. Witnessing the different water systems actively working to safeguard our drinking water was truly enlightening.

Nothing is more important than access to clean drinking water. This is not an issue we can compromise on. Reduced funding for clean water is a bad idea. We need a $600M investment in clean water infrastructure--nothing less.
