Melatonin to prevent delirium in 16 trials incl 1634 hospitalized patients has n.s. decrease in delirium incidence OR 0.55 (95%CI 0.24-1.26), but significant reduction in LOS in ICU: MD -1.84 days (-2.46, -1.21). Meta-analysis, free full text ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31279283
