Jazz lost one its great historians and advocates. Dan Morgenstern passed away Sep. 7 at age 94. Fortunately TNYCJR was able to give him his flowers a few months back in the May 2024 issue, celebrating The Jazz Gallery "Contribution to the Arts Award" given to him at the NYC venue.
