Early in the morning on January 21, 1985, 65 passengers joined 6 crew members aboard a Lockheed L-188 Electra in Reno. 70 of them never made it home. Remembering, today, the victims of the crash of Galaxy Airlines flight 203. 😢

For those following the #DavisFire, tankers were ordered about 10 minutes ago - sounds like six aircraft total. So the air force should be launching out of Stead shortly.

Air operations for the #DavisFire shutting down for the night. Busy afternoon as over a dozen aircraft hit it hard, direct attacks with water drops and expanding retardant lines.
