Worrying the drop in ED attendances. Noticed less burns referrals. Yet we know home is one of the most dangerous places for toddlers and under 5’s. Please seek medical help if your child has an injury. Cool ( 20 mins tepid water), Cover (cling film), Call (999,111, or ED) .

What are they wearing?🤔 If your child is being treated at Sheffield Children’s at the moment, it’s likely that they’ll see staff wearing PPE – Personal Protection Equipment – which can make them look a bit different to usual. But remember, they’re still the same underneath!🙂

Today is Burns Awareness Day. Sheffield Children's Burns Unit we treat 450 burns a year with over 3000 dressing changes. Remember first aid advice CoolCoverCall to reduce the impact of a burn injury.
