Further to Autorité de sûreté nucléaire (ASN)'s approval, EDF has initiated operation of the Flamanville EDF EPR Flamanville reactor, a first step towards final electricity generation! Nucleareurope welcomes this development which will contribute towards additional nuclear capacity and greater energy security in Europe!
