Day 1 of the TSSAA AA Decathlon State Championship is over. Our own Ethan Demeter currently holds the lead after clearing 15' in pole vault, 38'-5" in triple jump, running a 55.94 400, an 11.93 100, and throwing the discus a little over 120ft.

It's official. Ethan Demeter is your 2024 TSSAA AA State Decathlon Champion. With a blazing 15.47 110 meter hurdles, 5'6 high jump, 32'6 shot, 20'2 long jump, and a leisurely 5:54 1500.

Perfect through 6'6. blayne clinches the TSSAA AA State High Jump Championship and sets a new school record!

With a 14 foot jump Ethan Demeter has won the 2024 TSSAA AA state championship pole vault title!
