Thank you to the Taoiseach @SimonHarris TD for visiting us while he was in Kerry yesterday. The Taoiseach met with the NPWS regional staff and heard more about our work to reintroduce the White-tailed Eagle. He released the last of this year’s chicks back into the wild.

Turloughs, sometimes known as underwater meadows, are semi-natural habitats that are virtually unique to Ireland. They generally flood in winter and dry out in summer. You can visit one at Coole Park and another at the Burren National Park #GreatIrishGrasslands
