As you can tell, I’ve rather run out of material now it's the holidays. So thanks to everyone who has followed and shared and helped raise the issues. I am just so frustrated at the damaging impact this will have on the education of my boy(s)/girl(s)/child/children!🤔🕵️ 1/4

And the feeling that it’s out of my hands and our voice is irrelevant as decisions have already been taken – and by bean counters, not educational experts. Yesterday’s announcement of Mrs Miles’ departure was just the worst news and no doubt the start of a damaging drip-drip 2/4

of the best talent leaving the schools. I mean, who would want to stay in the midst of all this uncertainty, with threats over jobs and cut-backs looming? Long-term visions and plans for the next 50 years are completely irrelevant for the current pupils. 3/4

I may be selfish but I only care about the next few years. As parents, we invest in our children’s future, not in the schools’ futures. I’m afraid Mr Moynihan has not recognised this. And I fully expect the parent consultation process to be written to ensure the right answer! 4/4
