Got a NullPointerException ,“Cannot invoke Object.hashCode() because key is null” Spent time looking everywhere. The culprit? Map.of() in Java doesn’t allow null keys. When sortBy wasn’t passed by the client, it came in as null. Map tried to hash it. Blew up. Fix was one line:
