It takes him a minute to realize what she’s doing, but you can tell when it dawns on him. He gives her a look.

He’s not adorable. “You know what.” That’s all he says before putting the car into drive to head towards that vegan place she’s talked him into for dinner.

“That was 𝘺𝘰𝘶 cooking. Not someone else.” Logan, play nice. “But. . .I trust your judgment.”

“Yeah, I am saying that.” Reaches over and slips a hand into hers. “Works for me.”

Saw that coming.

Holds her until she falls asleep again.

Puts an arm around her while providing commentary.

Snorts. “Much better.” His tone is teasing, although he means it. The poetry caused a lot of issues for them. “More my speed.”

“See?” He nods towards her revisions. “I am never wrong.”

He shrugs, hiding a grin. “I would.”

“If I’m cocky, it’s because your hand brushed my lap a moment ago.”

“Don’t recall?” He pulls one of her hands from his cheek, lowering it down to his lap and applying pressure. “Does this help jog your memory?”

He’s the one who gets to look smug now as he applies more pressure in a downwards motion. “That’s Professor Campbell to you.”

He doesn’t bother to defend his couch. It’s near impossible to remember what he was going to say anyway with her hand working him over. All he does is yank her in closer and possessively kiss her, dominating the kiss from the second it begins.
