Defold is one of the few engines that can be used to make both a great 2D/3D game and a playable ad from the same content. Without rewriting everything from scratch on __js_engine_name_here__. The engine build size for playable is ~1MB or less, depending on the features included.

Love it and hate it, hate that I love it - that's me about Cursor. Literally, in 2 days, I managed to create a great C++ Defold extension for the next game from @notbadgun. This time, the code is covered with tests, so I won't let LLM shoot me in the foot!

I figured out how the graphics settings menu appears in video games - the developers just put all the options they use themselves in there. I did the same thing, but I also moved the menu to the side so that you can see the result right away!
