We are sad to hear that the Founder President of Demelza House Derek Phillips has passed away. Few stars will shine brighter than that of Dereks. The work continues though, and we are proud to have Demelza as our charity partner, raising vital funds for a wonderful charity.

Raffle prizes for our 6-a-side tournament & summer fete in aid of Demelza Charity is coming along nicely! A lot to organise between now and then but we are buzzing as a club to raise as much money as possible for our charity partner!

Every cricket clubs nightmare. “Motion on the bar camera”. The sense of dread as you log onto the app… Turns out it was just this absolute tank. O idea where the fella is now. Considering torching the place and starting again rather than sharing it with Aragog.

Admin took a break from X as it was an utter cesspit. Hasn’t improved much but we’re back. What’s happened in the meantime? Well we got promoted to Division 3 after finishing 3rd. We raised £1.2k for our charity partner Demelza Charity in 2024. 1/3

We are starting a football team for the 2025/25 season. We are starting a pool team from the club. Maybe a darts team although we are all worse at darts than we are cricket.  And lastly we have a new skipper. Onto you Lewis Mitchell. You’ve big shoes to fill lad. 3/3

Defeat in our opening game to Nelson, with them knocking off our total of 209 with an over to spare. Top day out though against a top bunch of blokes. Paddy starts the season with an unbeaten ton 👌🏼

Off to a winning start in our first game in Division 3. Wickets shared but the stand out was Mr Rivers who bowled superbly. Paddy with a 50 in the chase guided us home. Thank you Staplehurst, you’ve got a lovely ground and we’re great hosts. All the best for the season 🏏 🍻
