Land Law in England and Wales has favoured land owners’ over those of occupiers for decades. In 2024, the Freehold Reform Act was passed, to tip the balance a bit. Deep-pocketed land owners are challenging it. But the High Court has refused a group of Leaseholders to have a say!

Centuries of Land Law, wildly favouring those who own it over those who occupy or use it, are challenged by this 2024 Act. No wonder deep-pocketed land owners are challenging it in court. Too bad Free Leaseholders can’t have their say.
