This week, we have been learning this Jewish Hora in RE.

In RE, we are learning how and why different religions use dance in their worship and celebrations! This week, we have focused on the Jewish ‘Hora’, this is a dance traditionally performed at weddings. We have had lots of fun recreating this dance together!🎵⭐️

In RE today we connected our learning on values to the bible fable of The Lost Sheep and acted it out 🐑☺️❤️

In RE this afternoon we had a debate about morals in a Right vs Wrong activity where we discussed different scenarios Norbridge RE

A dragon?! Some of our Year 6 children have used music and dance to parade the school as our Invention Week hook! All children will be writing about Chinese New Year this week and we can’t wait to see their writing!✍️📝🐉🐲

We are really enjoying learning all about Chinese New Year 🧧 and celebrations this week. We have already begun to learn a special, celebratory dance 🪩

This afternoon, Mr Hardy has come to see Year 2 to tell us all about the story of Joseph. We are learning why this story is important to Christian people.

We have had lots of fun learning all about the Lunar New Year today and learning a dance to celebrate!🎉🐲🎶

We have really enjoyed making pancakes and eating them for our snack! 🧑‍🍳 🥞 😋

Today in Norbridge RE we had a visit from Mr Hardy. He spoke to us about what its like to be part of a community and particularly a Christian community. We had a great afternoon and learnt why it's important to be part of a community @Y2Owlclass

We have had a wonderful session this morning following an assembly on British values. We learned more about Islam, wrote in Arabic and tried on some traditional clothing 🙂 thanks so much for organising Norbridge Family Support we have loved it!

This half term we will be learning about Islam. It was great to kick this off with a workshop with Yesmein.
