During the last couple days we experienced some issues with the randomness callbacks not being received because of a bug on the drand-bot. This has now been fixed and drand-bot operators are rolling out the patch. Thank you for your understanding and have a great weekend🙏❤️

The Aura Network , Stargaze ✨🔭 and ninja community pools contain big amounts of $NOIS tokens, you can always raise proposals there to get grants and subsidise your project's randomness usage 😉

At Nois we have two kinds of relaying: ICS20: This is for token transfer between chains. (Relayers don't receice incentives here) wasm relaying: This is where the randomness beacon gets relayed to consumer chains. Relayers will get incentives by relaying this traffic 💰.

If random NFT minting was predictable, NFT buyers could predict what NFT will be minted before it gets minted 💀. When the stakes are high hackers take advantage of this determinism/predictability as we have seen in the past 🪦. This is where Nois comes in 😉

This is the nois-toolbox. Transform the randomness you get or generate an infinite number of derivative unpredictable and deterministic sub_randomness from it. Just import the nois crate and have access to well tested distributions. 🎲 docs.nois.network/dapp_devs/tool…

Blockchains face a paradox: deterministic yet lacking in true randomness. Timestamps, block hashes, and heights aren't foolproof sources. Nois disrupts the scene, offering decentralized, unbiasable randomness for various applications.

The Nois tech stack novelty is not only there to bring randomness to CosmWasm contracts through IBC but it brings a modular way to plug in payable cross chain messaging services. Randomness is only the first great payable product 🚀

Permissionlessness is so great! So great that sometimes you see onchain dapps requesting your beacon without even knowing about them! Getting new partners without even knowing is just amazing 😎

To integrate Nois with your blockchain you need to deploy a nois-proxy which plays the role of an outpost contract. Good news, Nois can be permissionlessly integrated with any IBC enabled chain. The nois-proxy's role is to abstract the IBC complexity from the consumer DAPP.

Some of the usecases of unpredictable randomness are: - Lotteries - Gambling - Gaming - Random asset distribution (randdrop) - Randomized bidding end time - NFT minting - Interactive zk proofs - Fair gouvernment Taxation - Fair random checks - DAO, governane and elections ...

The 5% inflation in Nois happens on a block basis, every block results in minting new NOIS tokens. 6% of the minted tokens go to validators equally regardless of their voting power, 20% go to a dev fund, 4% go to LOE drand network, and 70% go to staking

Smart contracts operating casino-style games or lotteries on Ethereum and other blockchains have faced exploitation due to insecure random number generation. Some attackers have managed to predict the random numbers used in these contracts, and drained millions of dollars.

The novelty in Nois payment logic fully lives on top of CosmWasm. Every requesting customer gets a new matching contract on Nois chain (contract factory). That payment contract serves as a billing balance and is instantiated automatically upon IBC channel creation.

We would like to thank everyone involved in the success of Nois. - Validators - Drand bots - LOE ( Drand ) - The Nois dev team - IBC relayers - nois-proxy operators - Dapps and devs that don't trust us but trust the trustlessness that we provide 😂

Pro tip: You can make money 💰 by deploying the nois-proxy contract to chains where Nois does not exist yet and set the prices you'd like (example in native token of that chain) for dapps to pay you to request the randomness. Step by step guide docs.nois.network/integrate_nois…

Projects can use the randomness of Nois to conduct their token's randdrop without developing any line of code. Here's a step by step guide to do it docs.nois.network/randdrop.html
