Today for the first time in 9 years, I went to give alms at temple. I don’t know what I’m reaching out for. But I hope my prayers are heard.

My therapist excitedly proclaimed “THATS A HUGE VICTORY!” After I told her I was 5 days sober. I immediately burst into tears. I’ve never happy cried before.

Applied for my first solo apartment today. Growing older and getting bolder. Wish me luck.

Approved for my first studio today as a single adult in my 30s. I’m both excited and terrified.
