Simon Harris TD #nofryzone Thanks Simon. Wicklow County Council put NO importance on public health when they ignored #Nofryzone objective RT17 in the CDP. This attitude by planning must change & come from top down. Health of future generations depend on minimising obosengic environment. Strategy must be delivered.

1/2 Sent a letter on behalf of #nofryzone to CEO Wicklow County Council look for him to explain how they granted planning application for fast food outlet just 150m away from 2 schools when #nofryzone objective is clear - no new outlets within 400m of schools.

2/2 Asked him to explain how they still have an award presented to the council at #ASOI2018 for promotion of public health. Wicklow County Council granted permission AFTER receipt of the award and publicised the award in their Countywise magazine. RT to highlight this shocking behaviour.
