I'd like to see data on how tech layoffs impact pregnant employees + new moms. My two cents: it's fueling the motherhood penalty. Many of my friends impacted by layoffs have been pregnant, on mat leave, or recently had a baby within the last year.

Just finished this book, Gut by Giulia Enders. What a fantastic introductory read to the world of our gut microbiota! Did you know the gut accounts for 2/3rds of our immune system?! I haven’t felt so curious and fascinated by the gut since Anatomy lab in university. 💩 🦠
