We presented our Alternative Budget for 2024/25. It focuses on reducing wastage & fighting corruption in order to achieve efficiency. It focuses on health care, education, human rights & job creation. It will be presented to the House & we request our colleagues to support it!

Today as I chaired the Committee on Health

I chaired the Health Committee of Parliament of Uganda as we interacted with Mulago National Referral Hospital officials led by Dr Byanyima Rosemary, the Ag ED. We discussed Hospital budget for 2024/25. Key challenges are staffing gaps, inadequate medical supplies, salary discrepancies among others.

Today I chaired Parliament of Uganda Committee on Health which was carefully scrutinising the Ministerial Policy Statement on Health. We also met Civil Society Organisations, advocating for inclusion of more funds for Emergency preparedness. Together we shall improve our health care.
