A real joy to bring these young musicians together for their second workshop yesterday - you can tell how long they’ve been waiting for this over the last two years.

I couldn’t agree more, navigating life as a musician can be incredibly isolating - we’re comfortable in our own company because that’s what the dedication demands but we must do more by forming communities and supporting others across our art form.

The unspoken social boundaries of adolescence are broken down by music. Young people of all ages connecting, learning, expressing, creating, and having fun together. In music, you don’t belong to a particular year level or social group, you just belong to music. That’s powerful.
