they really don't teach you how to move out of your undergrad home, graduate from college, get a lease on a med school apartment, live with your parents for the summer before school, and then find out they're selling your childhood home to move to a new city when you leave. huh.

now that we’re gathering again, let’s all remember this golden rule: you don’t get to ask why someone doesn’t want kids, why they haven’t had kids yet, and/or if they want kids. and you especially don’t get to ask what their partner thinks of that decision.

favorite part about planning a wedding for the summer after M1 year of medical school? Robert has planned it all thus far. I truly lucked out. the only thing I have to do is pick out a dress & I truly wish he would do that for me too.

med school is being just one minor inconvenience away from a meltdown... every day.

my apartment complex is now implementing a program that sends off DNA samples of unscooped dog waste to be analyzed and matched to the correct dog and owner. I do not belong here-- this is too high class/extra/weird for me.

Carrying your Poweraid water bottle around campus was legit such a status symbol in college to the point where sometimes I still carry one around today and take a swig thinking the random people of Trader Joe’s will recognize I’m an ~athlete~
