Last night I voted to ban "fire & rehire" practices. This disgraceful practice is used to drive down pay & conditions, like what's happening at British Gas at the moment. But the Tories refused to back the motion. Why? They're on the side of the bosses, not the workers.

Quite a lot of people asking why Cashplus Bank can’t process cheques now they are a bank. HMRC issuing thousands as they are taking 75 business days to change bank details. So no transfers. Currently, if you move to Cashplus you can’t credit your VAT or CT rebates for 4 months.

We are actually talking about payable orders from HMRC. Are you really content to cause your business customers do much stress when HMRC are issuing more payable orders than before?
