Presenting to the #ialegis today is UNI Business & Community Services. Our business and community services outreach serves clients in all 99 counties. The state’s investment serves Foundry 4.0, family businesses and succession planning, student entrepreneurship & local and regional development.

Today was the 15th annual Regents research day at the Capitol for students from all 3 universities to showcase their research to lawmakers. Here is University of Northern Iowa NISG Pres Samantha Bennet and Emmalee Fannon with Rep Steve Hansen from Sioux City. A lot of great projects today!

The #ialegis House Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee invited UNI Business & Community Services to present about the business and community services UNI provides. We’re proud we serve all 99 counties in Iowa with family business assistance, economic dev, waste reduction and Foundry 4.0.
Great to see the UNI purple in the Iowa Capitol today. Our NISG students are working in a bi-partisan way advocating for University of Northern Iowa with two UNI Alumni elected officials, Rep Timi Brown-Powers and Rep Hans Wilz.
International Education Opportunities was the topic and University of Northern Iowa was asked to present to the #ialegis International Relations Committee meeting today at the World Food Prize Foundation building. Former Governor and Ambassador Terry Branstad stopped by to give remarks.
