Today🇸🇴Civil Society Attend Parliamentary Session on Key Legal Instruments. Members of Somali civil society from 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 attended the 14th plenary sitting of the sixth session of the House of the People Golaha Shacabka BJFS, chaired by the Speaker of the House, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe.

Today, our partner SONSA launched CSO Working Groups in Mogadishu, bringing together MPs and civil society under the #GoleKaab project. The event called for formal CSO roles in parliamentary sessions to strengthen transparency and civic oversight.

Last night was a full house at the consultation between the Federal Government of Somalia and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on Participatory Budgeting. The event was organized by 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 under the Gole Kaab Project.
