📣🎵 Calling all Music Makers! 🎵📣 We are hosting an Odyssey 9 Music Academy Workshop this Friday! Odyssey 9 Music Academy is a creative & social enterprise that educates & encourages young people to release their potential in pursuing jobs in the creative industry.

Thanks to ⁦Wigan Youth Zone⁩ for an amazing school trip today we loved every minute of it. We got to take part in dancing, hockey, football, arts and craft, the climbing wall and music studio and lots of other exciting activities.

Huge Congrats to our Senior Members in The Base for securing £800 from UK Youth to work on a Social Enterprise Project in the coming months. Their project aims to raise awareness of the LGBTQIA+ by hosting their own event to coincide with Wigan Pride. Watch this space!

Greater Manchester Police #UPDATE | Representatives from St John Ambulance, Wigan Council, Wigan Youth Zone, GMP and Wigan Athletic are in #Wigan for #OpAVRO. GMP and our partners are delivering educational inputs to children on dialling 999, open water safety, knife crime, and generally keeping safe.

We're still buzzing from celebrating Wigan Pride with the rest of Wigan. We had a fabulous time singing and dancing our way through the day!🏳️‍🌈 Our members joined in by walking in the parade and shining bright during incredible performances on the Believe Stage. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Last weekend some of our lucky members got to visit Adventure Parc Snowdonia They had 2 adrenaline-filled days of climbing, canoeing and bungee jumping! 🛶 At WYZ, there are countless opportunities for young people to try something new or develop in something they already love!

As the country mourns the loss of the Queen, it's important to acknowledge that this news will affect us all differently, and this time might also bring up feelings of personal grief.💭 Everyone grieves differently, there is no right or wrong way to grieve.💜

Bake-off is back with Gail!🧁 Look at what the teams got up to the last 2 weeks! Every Friday we'll see two senior teams go up against the clock to deliver the best baking. They'll each be given a recipe, instructions, utensils and ingredients. Let the baking wars begin! 🍰

As proud #FounderPatrons, we were delighted to attend Wigan Youth Zone's Be A Kid 4 The Day event last week! As you can see in the photos, our team members had lots of fun enjoying the plethora of activities available, while doing our bit to support the Youth Zone!
