Participants came from far & wide for this inclusive Conservation Halton #Pride event to celebrate nature & the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Proceeds supported the Positive Space Network, who creates safer spaces for youth in Halton. "It was amazing to have an inclusive event with my family"

Working with community developers & the Town of Milton, Conservation Halton was busy building new wetlands in the Sixteen Mile Creek floodplain last year. 2,400+ trees & shrubs were planted and another wetland is in the works to be restored later this year! #climatechange
Thanks for the Greenbelt Foundation & to the City of Hamilton for the partnership on this great wetland restoration project. After the successful implementation of 2 phases, we are moving forward for on additional restoration over the next two years for this impactful project.

A big welcome to this newest wetland in Milton. Last year we restored a Sixteen Mile Creek floodplain creating several small pocket wetlands. Only few months under their belt, they are capturing rainfall, cleaning runoff, & providing valuable ecosystem services. Conservation Halton
