My one gripe with the film Yesterday is that the Suffolk accents are not very Suffolky. It’s about the intonation. Suffolk is not West Country. Go and spend an afternoon in any pub in Beccles or Lowestoft and you will know exactly what I’m talking about.

Fighting is important but your energies might be better employed in other types of activism. Having seen how the crisis of liberalism has played out in the U.K., I can’t see how that cynical party shift to the right to win votes is anything but inevitable.
