I’m on night 1 of a 2 night work trip and I can’t sleep… it’s gonna be a LONG day tomorrow.

We got our Christmas photos and I love them. But my 22 yo has moved out and is independent, so he isn’t in them and I feel badly. Should I?

My dad seems to slowly be losing his memory (he is 74). He saw a neurologist some time ago, and was told he was likely to suffer loss of memory, mainly due to his alcoholism. Seeing it today was a huge shock. Trying hard to deal with it. And figure out what’s next.

Welp, the Advent calendar this year was a mom fail… picked a highland cow mini ornament one for her to decorate her mini tree with. 11 yo was not happy. Meh. 😢

This is literally the hardest month of the year to be productive at work… and I really, really need to be.

I got hit with an unexpected bill… my bank account is overdrafted and I don’t know how long it will take to recover. So all my careful budgeting to make Christmas happen is in the toilet. 😢

Crappy health insurance: I am 46 and need orthodontia. My already bad insurance won’t cover it because I’m over 19. Like once you turn 19 your teeth are magically perfectly straight? Won’t be able to be fixed?

Slowly getting to Christmas. Just a tree and lights and wreaths, but I love it.

Christmas is coming and I am neither ready nor enjoying the season.

My 11 year old not liking Christmas is the final item added to my emotional load I just can’t handle. I am SO DONE.

Last Christmas, the church I was going to broke my faith. This year my parents are struggling, and putting their burdens on me. I don’t want Christmas. I am so depressed.

Never say you like something… I am up to 59 nutcrackers. I have almost no room for other decorations. They are beautiful, but every now and then I’d like to change it up.
