This sounds similar to my own experience these past few months with one key difference: I did not forget about submitting to Modern Love & instead checked my email obsessively for 4+ months & when I heard from Daniel Jones, I screamed so excitedly my dad spilled his coffee.

I've heard from hundreds of strangers in the past few months who have taken the time to contact me (here and through nicolecomforto.com) with their anxiety stories in response to my #modernlove essay and it's been unexpectedly emotional & wonderful. Thank you.
