Given the sad news about Andrew Stunell, one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met, I wanted to share some memories.
He was the kind of person you want on your team. Hard working, honest and kind.
He helped me work out what it was to make a difference in public life.

Quite incredible! How narrow minded is that? How to lose credibility!

And I agree. Very concerned about how mental health is being deprioritised and how outdated negative assumptions are creeping back into public discourse.

Great to meet local businesses (and eat their delicious food) in Brick Lane earlier today.

Shocked & heart broken re Andrew Stunell. Indefatigable titan of a campaigner. First political spark Ugandan Asians, last Rwanda. Rare Minister who increased council housing. Loved his avuncular teasing always! Aged 80 camped to volunteer S&F by-election. Total legend.

Liverpool’s Labour council is bottom of the league. Officially the 2nd worst council in the country!

Meanwhile the Lib Dems are running more councils in the top 20 than any other party.
